Building Climate Leaders for a Changing World

Climate change is no longer a distant environmental conversation. It is a present-day leadership, governance, innovation, economic and social challenge requiring informed, coordinated and practical action.

Between April and July 2026, the Climate Skills for Youth Programme demonstrated what becomes possible when climate education is combined with purposeful partnership, accessible digital learning, leadership development and a clear pathway from knowledge to action.

Jointly delivered by the Coalition for a Brighter Earth, All-Encompassing Global Consult Limited and the Talent Incubation Hub, the programme moved young people beyond climate awareness and equipped them to become leaders, communicators, innovators, entrepreneurs and solution-builders.

Programme Outcome

From 8,847 applications across 143 countries, 1,026 participants successfully completed the structured learning and assessment process and graduated as the CSYP Class of 2026.

The Integrated Learning Journey

CSYP 2026 combined expert-led masterclasses, interactive discussions, case studies, assignments, assessments, digital resources and continuous participant communication.

Module One: Climate Foundations and Leadership

Participants explored climate science, mitigation, adaptation, climate governance, systems thinking, just transition and leadership under uncertainty.

Key learning: Climate leaders must understand interconnected systems and act responsibly under uncertainty.

Module Two: Storytelling, Branding and Strategic Communication

Participants learned to simplify technical climate information, communicate with influence, build credible public identities and use storytelling to inspire practical action.

Key learning: Communication becomes transformative when it connects emotionally and gives people a clear pathway to act.

Module Three: Climate Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Career Pathways

Participants explored green careers, climate innovation, entrepreneurship, circular economy opportunities, funding access, international networking and scalable solution development.

Key learning: Climate action is also an opportunity space for careers, enterprise, research and locally responsive innovation.

What CSYP 2026 Achieved

Global accessibility: Participants connected from Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and other regions.

Digital innovation: The programme used virtual masterclasses, LMS-enabled learning, automated assessments and digital certification.

Graduation: Completion as a New Beginning

The graduation ceremony brought together graduates, partners, facilitators, climate experts, development stakeholders and international guests. It featured partner remarks, an impact presentation, stakeholder contributions, participant reflections, official recognition, digital certification and the launch of the alumni community.
